And question number 3

Time for Dustin’s last question

You can read the first one here and the second one here

3. How do you get anything done with three dogs running around? Hehe…

I’m pretty sure this is rhetorical 😉 But I’m going to answer it anyway! Whenever I want to clean or mop or anything I have to make sure I have 3 kennel snacks and get the puppies settled, then I have about 30 minutes to get it all done

This is why kennel training is really important 🙂 But really I feel like I never get it all done… I try to work on everyones basics at least once a day and I try to work on training Daine and Teddy at least twice a week.. But something always falls thru the cracks!

Anyway! Thats our first 3 questions! If you have questions you can leave them in the comments or you can email them to me 🙂

  1. Not sure where to leave a question…I would like to know what you did to get them to like water and to swim? Mine wouldn’t go near the wading pool I got them (Bianca actually went back in the house and hid) and seriously resist going outside to potty in the rain. Snow was no problem.

  2. Hi, this is Joellyn, Yoda\’s (the Jedi Pibble) mom here I really love your blog. I\’ve been thinking about starting my own, and maybe, just maybe…..:))
Anyway, as to this question, all I have to say is THANK HEAVEN for crates! And I thank heaven that Yoda loves his. He came into my home that already had two adult dogs, but mini ones (two chihuahuas….what was I thinking?? I know, I know don\’t ask, I guess I wasn\’t.) He was supposed to just be a temporary foster, but he wormed his way into our hearts and he\’s here to stay. It was dicey at first with the little ones, but they\’re working it out. Bijou (the girl) resents his very existence, and lets him know it if he gets too close, but mostly stays out of his way, and Bruno (the boy) has learned to tolerate him as long as he doesn\’t get too rowdy…..which he will do sometimes when he thinks he can get away with it. I use squirt bottles too, and they work, but he\’s getting pretty good about stopping his behavior with a firm \”NO\” or \”OFF\”. And sometimes when he\’s being reprimanded he just goes into his crate by himself He\’s growing up.
Oh, and glad Daine\’s surgery went well and that she\’s feeling better now. We had a scare with Yoda awhile ago, but it turned out okay. We were worried though….they really do become like our children, don\’t they?

  3. Hello! Its so nice to meet you 😉 Thank you so much! The more the merrier in my opinion!
I know of a doberman (two actually) that live with a toy sized dog, its just about rules and boundaries 🙂 and time! It takes time!
I am glad Yoda is okay! You are right they are my children and surgery is not an easy thing!
Thank you so much for stopping by!
